The Stoked Pro Gap course is open to all competent skiers over the age of 18, whether you are taking a year out from college/university, on a career break, searching for a different route in life, or simply for the quickest route to gaining an instructor qualification.
The journey from being a competent skier to becoming a qualified ski instructor is full of challenges and new experiences. With the aid of coaching from top class BASI trainers and the Stoked Pro training team your skills will be developed and improved to fulfil your real potential.
While the main focus of the Stoked Pro GAP course is on training, it is also about new experiences and having your first insights into what it would be like to work as a ski instructor. You will be welcomed into the Stoked team and invited to various team events and activities, you will get to know the whole Stoked team through shadowing lessons and training, it is also your opportunity to impress and to put yourself forward as a potential employee for Stoked.
The ultimate goal of the course is to have reached the standards required to qualify for your instructor license, but it is also about having fun and enjoying your time in resort. Included in the price of the course is telemark and snowboard training days (with equipment included) so you can experience different disciplines within a snowsport environment. There are also opportunities in resort to take part in Paragliding, Moonlight skiing, ice-skating, curling, sledging, rock climbing, snowshoeing and much much more.

The Stoked Pro Gap course is designed as a fast track way to becoming an instructor, the course lasts for a duration of 10 weeks consisting of 120 hours of training and 3 weeks of instructor courses. The course is limited to 10 participants ensuring that you get the greatest personal gains possible. You will spend the whole duration of your stay in Zermatt, and will have the added advantage of being trained on the slopes and terrain that you will finally be examined on.
